Senior DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join the new team, focusing on introducing Specification Driven Development (SDD) processes, infrastructure provisioning, permission management, and establishing a robust CI/CD process for the re-implemented solution. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud migration, automation, and collaboration with both stakeholders and the development team.
Responsibilities
- Implement Spec-driven development processes
- Design and implement automated pipelines for functional, performance and security testing
- Automate BAU (Business As Usual) requests using GitHub Actions
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Manage permissions and access controls across services
- Support development requests, including security bugs, dependency updates, performance issues and system enhancements across DB, service and UI streams
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders and the development team
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps and Kubernetes
- Skills in GitHub Actions, GitHub Spec Kit and Specification Driven Development (SDD)
- Expertise in Gen AI Assisted Development
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Spec-driven development and migration to GitHub
- Capability to automate BAU requests using GitHub Actions
- Expertise in designing and implementing automated pipelines for functional, performance and security testing
- Strong soft skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and development teams
- Flexibility to work at least until 12pm EST, with occasional later meetings
