We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team in
Saudi Arabia. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including infrastructure maintenance, communication with regulatory authorities, and managing interactions with the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).

- Design, construct, install, and maintain large relational databases
- Maintain the integrity and security of the database, including backups and recovery procedures
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and failover systems
- Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required
- Optimize queries for performance
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database usage
- Set up and maintain database replication, clustering, mirroring, and other high availability strategies
- Use and understand tools like PgBouncer and modern monitoring systems
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices
- Proven hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (required), including setup, replication, upgrades, monitoring, and performance tuning
- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies, including Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR)
- Strong understanding of database design, documentation, and development best practices
- Familiarity with database management tools and advanced performance tuning techniques
- Experience with ClickHouse is a plus
- Working knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
- Experience managing DBaaS solutions on cloud platforms (GCP or AWS is a plus)
- Experience migrating large databases across cloud platforms
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm
- Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Debezium or Flink
- Awareness of current trends and best practices in database administration
- Relevant certifications or formal training in database management are a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
- Professional proficiency in English (B2 level or higher)
