Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable ETL/ELT solutions to meet business and analytical needs
- Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for various sources and destinations
- Build and optimize data pipelines for managing structured and unstructured data in modern cloud environments
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to promote effective data integration and workflow processes
- Leverage best practices to deliver reliable and quality engineering solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data integration and data warehousing
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data engineering tasks
- Familiarity with Databricks for unified data analytics and processing
- Strong knowledge of designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases for data processing and querying
- Familiarity with orchestration tools including Apache Airflow
- Expertise in Snowflake or comparable cloud solutions such as Azure or AWS for data warehousing and storage
- Understanding of modern data engineering tools and concepts, encompassing performance optimization, data architecture, and pipeline scalability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills coupled with a proactive and delivery-focused approach
- English level of minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for effective communication
