Senior Consumer & Marketing Insights Manager (Remote)

Novakid is a #1 online language learning brand for kids in Europe with over 1M students to date. 

We are seeking a Senior Consumer & Marketing Insights Manager who will bridge the gap between customer and market understanding and business decision-making.

The role is accountable for identifying high-value business questions, delivering rigorous research, translating findings into clear recommendations, and ensuring that recommendations receive an explicit decision and accountable handover.

Business and functional leaders remain accountable for final tdecisions, resource allocation and implementation.

What You Will Do

• Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritise the customer, market and brand questions most relevant to Novakid’s strategic goals.
• Design and execute rigorous quantitative and qualitative research, including panel studies, surveys, focus groups and appropriate AI-enabled research methodologies.
• Analyse and interpret data to produce clear, unbiased and commercially relevant insights.
• Translate insights into specific recommendations, explaining the expected business opportunity, supporting evidence, risks and proposed success metrics.
• Facilitate decision sessions with relevant stakeholders and ensure that each recommendation is accepted, rejected or deferred with a documented rationale.
• Co-create action plans in which every approved recommendation has a named business owner, deadline and success metric. The business owner remains accountable for implementation.
• Follow up on agreed actions, measure the results of implemented recommendations and capture lessons for future decision-making.
• Lead a monthly Research Council, sponsored by the CMO, to prioritise research, review findings, make decisions and track the outcomes of previously approved recommendations.

How Success Will Be Measured

Success will be assessed through:

• the strategic relevance and methodological quality of the research portfolio;
• the clarity, timeliness and actionability of recommendations;
• the percentage of completed projects that result in an explicit business decision;
• stakeholder satisfaction with the quality of the partnership and recommendations;
• the percentage of approved recommendations with a named owner, deadline and success metric;
• the measured contribution of implemented recommendations to conversion, retention, brand performance, customer experience or revenue.

The Senior Consumer & Marketing Insights Manager contributes to business impact through better decisions but is not solely accountable for outcomes that depend on implementation by other teams.

  • A senior consumer and marketing insights professional with strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities.
  • Commercially minded and able to connect customer understanding with business strategy.
  • Proactive in identifying important unanswered questions rather than waiting only for research requests.
  • Able to communicate complex findings clearly and credibly to senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • Skilled at facilitating alignment, surfacing disagreements and obtaining explicit decisions.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions through evidence while recognising that final business decisions and implementation sit with the accountable business leader.
  • Confident English Speaker
