About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise grade CI CD pipelines for cloud based deployments. You will contribute to building a golden path delivery platform for Microsoft Fabric and support multiple product teams with reliable, secure, and repeatable delivery practices across environments.
The estimated salary range for this position is up to 150,000 USD per year.
About the Project
This project focuses on building and operating a scalable cloud based data and analytics platform on Microsoft Azure. The platform enables multiple product teams to deliver enterprise data workloads through standardized, secure, and observable CI CD practices.
About the Team
You will work as part of a small cross functional DevOps team collaborating closely with cloud architects, platform engineers, and product development teams. The team works with distributed colleagues in the United States and Ireland and follows iterative delivery practices with a strong focus on stability, security, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain reusable CI CD workflows as part of a standardized golden path platform
- Build and operate CI CD pipelines supporting build validation, controlled environment promotion, and deployment gates in Azure
- Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design and operate the Microsoft Fabric platform
- Implement Gitflow practices using GitHub Enterprise
- Embed observability and reliability practices using SLO driven monitoring and alerting
- Analyze engineering metrics to identify and prioritize platform and process improvements
- Enable and support product teams through documentation, guidance, and hands on collaboration
- Use AI assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery consistency
- Coordinate directly with distributed development teams in the United States and Ireland as needed
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Hands on experience building enterprise CI CD pipelines for cloud deployments in Microsoft Azure
- Strong working knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions including reusable workflows, environments, and secrets management
- Experience with Python for library or API development
- Experience with Azure Entra ID including service principals, managed identities, and role based access control
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform for Azure resources
- Experience working with YAML based configuration and pipeline parameterization
Nice to Have
- Experience building CI CD pipelines for data engineering or ETL workloads
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Fabric including workspaces, lakehouses, notebooks, data pipelines, and warehouses
- Experience deploying Power BI semantic models and reports
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines for context and platform translation
