Senior Automation Tester (Java)

We're expanding our team and looking for a Senior Automation Tester who brings solid Java expertise to the table. Responsibilities

• Develop and fine-tune automated testing code designed to check application performance throughout different layers of the system
• Pinpoint which parts of the application should be prioritized for automation and organize test coverage based on risk level and business importance
• Carry out automated test runs and review the resulting data to surface defects ahead of deployment
• Partner with engineering teams and business representatives to understand upcoming feature requirements and convert them into practical test cases
• Revise and strengthen existing automated test collections to keep them current with changes made to the application
• Pin down the root cause behind failed test executions, separating true software defects from problems originating in the test code itself
• Assist in establishing testing methods and frameworks that support new functionality and system upgrades
• Take part in planning meetings aimed at estimating the time and resources testing work will require
• Help maintain smooth continuous integration operations by verifying automated tests function properly within build pipeline processes
• Keep records of testing procedures, identified problems, and useful techniques to encourage learning and collaboration among teammates

Requirements

• Academic background at the Bachelor's and Master's level in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related area of study
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience directly related to automation testing
• Strong working knowledge of Java, particularly as it's used to develop automated testing solutions
• Prior experience applying Java-based Web UI automation tools in practical settings
• Proven ability to build automated validation processes for both web services and APIs
• Familiarity with version control tools used to manage and monitor changes to source code
• Well-rounded understanding of the concepts involved in designing and organizing automation frameworks
• Practical exposure to using BDD frameworks in Java-centered testing environments
• Solid communication ability paired with English fluency at C1 level or higher, supporting accurate understanding of business requirements and their translation into agentic architecture concepts
