We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Atlassian Administrator to manage and enhance our Jira Cloud environment, streamline workflows, and provide top-notch support to our team.
Responsibilities
Review and improve existing workflows, permission schemes, and automation
Document existing processes in Jira and newly created ones
Create users, manage permissions and projects, and resolve issues in the system
Support and further develop existing Python scripts utilizing Atlassian Python APIs
Monitor, update, and optimize Jira Cloud environments to ensure reliability and performance
Develop, test, and implement automation rules to enhance efficiency within Jira Cloud
Create and maintain automation workflows for managing projects, schemes, and permissions
Set up and configure Jira projects, workflows, schemes, notifications, and permissions
Control changes in permission schemes, screens, and workflows through scripting and automation
Monitor, identify, and troubleshoot system issues, resolving them promptly
Provide assistance and training to end users, addressing ongoing concerns and questions
Requirements
3+ years of working experience in Atlassian tool administration and support
Expertise in providing application support in enterprise environments
Proficiency in managing and optimizing Atlassian Cloud applications, particularly Jira Cloud
Knowledge of Groovy scripting for creating custom solutions within Jira
Background in Jira Service Management, including its configuration and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Jira plugins and their development, integration, and maintenance
English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
