Senior Angular Developer
We are looking for a Senior Angular Developer to join our engineering team and play a key role in building and continuously enhancing our enterprise mobile applications.
You will work across multiple Angular versions, with a strong preference for expertise in the latest Angular releases (Angular 16+), including modern capabilities such as Signals and zoneless change detection. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment, contributing across the full front-end lifecycle, from architecture decisions to production delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, high-performance web and mobile applications using Angular 16+, leveraging modern features such as Signals, zoneless change detection, and improved Server-Side Rendering
- Work proficiently across multiple Angular versions simultaneously, while advocating for incremental migration toward the latest stable release
- Architect and implement reusable, scalable UI components following MicroUI and component-based design principles
- Build and maintain BFF (Backend For Frontend) services with Node.js to optimize communication between front-end applications and a microservices architecture
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features following Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ensure code quality and reliability through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Support GCP BigQuery integrations for data-driven features, working closely with data engineers to surface insights within front-end applications
- Stay current with the Angular and broader web ecosystem, sharing knowledge and advocating for best practices within the team
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional relevant experience as a front-end developer, with a significant focus on Angular and enterprise-grade applications
- Expert-level proficiency in Angular 16+, including Signals, RxJS, NgRx, zoneless change detection, and improved SSR and debugging workflows
- Demonstrated ability to develop across multiple Angular versions, with a clear preference and comfort in the latest releases
- Extensive experience with TypeScript, including advanced type system features and architectural patterns
- Hands-on experience with GCP BigQuery, including querying large datasets and integrating results into front-end data visualizations or dashboards
- Proven ability to design and deploy Node.js BFF services mediating between front-end clients and microservices backends
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and its practical implications for front-end development
- Solid experience with MicroUI and component-based design, building reusable and independently deployable UI modules
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams alongside cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Fluent English communication skills at a C1 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience integrating Angular applications with SAP systems, including familiarity with SAP APIs, SAP Fiori, or SAP Mobile Platform
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including automated testing, build optimization, and deployment workflows
- Knowledge of micro-frontend architecture patterns and module federation strategies
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization for Angular applications in production environments
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+) and building inclusive enterprise applications
