About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to work on a modern, premium enterprise mobile application used at scale. You will contribute to the evolution and stability of a production Android app, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering partners to deliver reliable, secure, and well tested mobile experiences.
About the Project
The project focuses on a large scale enterprise mobile application with a strong emphasis on performance, stability, and long term maintainability. The application is already in production and continues to evolve through incremental feature delivery and continuous technical improvements.
About the Team
You will be part of a cross functional product team that includes Android and iOS developers, backend engineers, QA specialists, product managers, and designers. The team works in close collaboration, with shared ownership of delivery, quality, and technical health, and regular interaction across mobile and backend platform teams including the mobile service layer.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high quality Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose within an existing architecture.
- Collaborate closely with product and design partners to deliver features that align with business and user needs.
- Contribute to end to end delivery including development, testing, code reviews, and release readiness.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve performance, memory, and stability issues in a live production environment.
- Refactor and improve existing code to keep the architecture clean, maintainable, and aligned with modern Android standards.
- Support a strong engineering culture by promoting testing, code quality, and system reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in native Android development with applications published and maintained in the Google Play Store.
- Hands on production experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience working with structured Android architectures such as MVVM or MVI within established codebases.
- Solid understanding of the Android SDK, device fragmentation, and Java interoperability.
- Experience integrating Android applications with RESTful APIs.
- Practical experience with automated testing including unit and UI tests.
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments with attention to security, privacy, and structured release processes.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional team in a production focused environment.
Technologies
Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, MVVM or MVI architectures, RESTful APIs, Java interoperability, RxJava or Kotlin Flow, automated testing frameworks, CI CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
