Senior AI Engineer/ Node.js, Python, Typescript
We're seeking a hands-on Senior AI Engineer skilled in Node.js, Python and TypeScript to contribute to the development of an AI-powered Risk Map solution. In collaboration with the Solution Architect and the broader engineering team, you'll build an AI-driven risk assessment system designed to cut manual effort from roughly 30 hours to about 8 hours per assessment. This project demands advanced AI-enabled engineering practices (such as spec-driven development) along with modern tooling (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This position suits engineers who have real-world production experience with AI tools and who are passionate about LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and enterprise-grade AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop the system based on the architecture and scope established during the Discovery phase
- Enhance prompt quality, AI workflows, and overall solution performance
- Increase the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of AI-generated outputs
- Roll out new AI capabilities in line with the solution architecture
- Assist in integrating AI capabilities into the existing platform
- Work closely with the AI Architect and Lead Engineer
- Take part in testing, validation, and ongoing refinement of AI solutions
- Diagnose AI-related problems and suggest fixes
- Record implementation details and provide technical recommendations
Requirements
- 3+ years working as an AI Engineer or Software Engineer on AI-based solutions
- Strong command of Node.js, Python, and TypeScript
- Solid expertise in LLMs and Generative AI
- Hands-on background in Prompt Engineering
- Prior work with Claude or comparable enterprise LLM platforms
- Knowledge of Claude Skills or similar reusable AI capability frameworks
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, prompt optimization, and quality enhancement techniques
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- English proficiency at B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS cloud services and Amazon Bedrock
- Background integrating AI solutions into enterprise systems
- Knowledge of AI guardrails, structured outputs, and evaluation methods
- Experience in insurance, risk management, financial services, or enterprise automation sectors
