As we continue to scale our sales operations, the Sales Trainer will play a key role in strengthening the performance of our telesales agents and Personal Managers.
This role is focused on practical, hands-on training and coaching — helping sales teams improve how they sell, build client relationships, and consistently achieve their targets. You will work closely with the business to identify gaps, deliver targeted interventions, and ensure training leads to measurable improvements in sales performance.
What You’ll Do
Training Design & Delivery
- Own the full training cycle: identify performance gaps, design targeted training programs, and deliver engaging, practical sessions
- Facilitate onboarding and continuous upskilling for sales teams (telesales agents and Personal Managers)
- Adapt training based on feedback, performance data, and business needs
Sales Performance & Coaching
- Support the development of sales skills across the funnel (prospecting, conversion, upselling, retention)
- Work with team leads to reinforce coaching on the floor and ensure training is applied in day-to-day work
- Participate in field observations to understand real sales challenges and improve training relevance
Mentoring Program Development
- Help design and roll out a structured mentoring program for Personal Managers
- Define success metrics, track progress, and continuously improve the program based on results
Analytics & Impact Tracking
- Track key training metrics (e.g., conversion rates, productivity, sales outcomes)
- Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Clearly connect training initiatives to business results
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with sales leaders and team leads to identify capability gaps and align training priorities
- Work with L&D and instructional design teams to create practical, scalable learning materials
Projects You’ll Work On
- Spend time in the field alongside Personal Managers to understand how they sell and identify opportunities for improvement
- Build and launch a mentoring program from the ground up
- Run collaborative sessions with sales teams to improve client acquisition and network growth
- Contribute to evolving training formats and topics to keep learning relevant and impactful
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 3+ years in training, L&D, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience in sales training (preferably in fintech, banking, telesales, or collections)
- Background in sales or client-facing roles is a strong advantage
- Experience working with or supporting sales teams (agents, account managers, or similar roles)
Sales & Training Skills
- Strong facilitation skills (on-site, remote, and hybrid)
- Experience creating training materials and practical learning content
- Ability to simplify complex sales concepts into actionable techniques
- Exposure to coaching or mentoring sales teams
Data & Impact Mindset
- Comfortable working with performance data (conversion, sales volume, productivity)
- Ability to connect training activities to business outcomes
- Structured approach to identifying gaps and measuring effectiveness
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services
- Familiarity with training frameworks (e.g., Kolb, Kirkpatrick)
- Experience building or supporting mentoring/coaching programs
- Experience running projects end-to-end
