Role Overview
The Sales Ambassador is responsible for driving motorcycle loan acquisition and ensuring smooth on-ground execution within partner dealer stores. The role covers customer engagement, sales conversion, inventory coordination, and end-to-end support during unit release, while ensuring compliance with company policies and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement (Walk-in Clients)
- Proactively approach and engage walk-in customers within partner dealer stores
- Guide customers through the Salmon Moto Loan application process
- Clearly explain product features, loan terms, perks, and benefits
- Handle customer inquiries and address concerns to support decision-making
2. Sales Conversion & Application Processing
- Assist customers in completing loan applications via the Salmon Agent App
- Ensure accurate encoding of customer information during application
- Collect and verify required IDs and supporting documents
- Ensure completeness and readiness of documents prior to submission
3. Release Execution (During Unit Release)
- Prepare all required documents for customer signing
- Ensure correctness and consistency of customer details across all documents
- Verify that the motorcycle unit is in good condition prior to release
- Set up required marketing materials (e.g., backdrop, branding) during release activities
- Ensure proper documentation and turnover process is completed
4. Inventory Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor motorcycle inventory within assigned partner dealer stores
- Track inventory movements including sales, deliveries, and transfers
- Regularly report inventory status to Head Office, particularly to the assigned Inventory Manager
- Flag discrepancies or issues in inventory to the appropriate stakeholders
5. Partner Coordination
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Branch Managers and dealer staff
- Coordinate closely with store personnel to ensure smooth customer handling and loan processing
- Support alignment between dealer operations and Salmon processes
6. Compliance & Documentation Control
- Ensure all collected documents meet compliance and KYC requirements
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of customer information across all submitted documents
- Safeguard and properly endorse all documents to the back-office team
- Escalate discrepancies, incomplete documents, or potential fraud cases
