Project description
We are looking for experienced System Safety Leaders (SSLs) to support System Safety Assurance activities within an automotive engineering organisation.
The role focuses on independent confirmation reviews, safety compliance, and strengthening system safety practices, aligned with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) standards.
You will work closely with the System Safety Competence Center contributing to governance, safety culture, and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- - Perform Confirmation Reviews of system safety work products to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 & ISO 21448
- Provide expert interpretation and feedback on review results to engineering teams
- Support alignment with SOTIF principles where applicable
- Collaborate closely with the Swedish System Safety organisation and follow defined processes and frameworks
- Contribute to system safety culture, standards, and best practices across the organisation
- Share knowledge within internal communities and drive safety improvements
Scope of Work includes
Functional Safety (FUSA) and SOTIF domains
Safety of automotive electrical/electronic systems (HW & SW)
Analysis of:
Systematic faults
Random hardware failures
Functional insufficiencies impacting safety
SKILLS
Must have
- Strong expertise in:
ISO 26262
ISO 21448 (SOTIF)
Confirmation Reviews
Hands-on experience in safety analysis methods:
HARA
FTA
FMEDA
FMEA
Solid understanding of:
System Safety Engineering practices
Automotive systems engineering
Embedded HW/SW systems

Note - Full time onsite working in Krakow
