Regular Axiom Developer
Project description
Client is using Axiom Trade & Txn reporting solution for below regimes: MAS, EMIR, Dodd Frank, Finfrag and Remit They have team of resources from incumbent vendor which is taking care of BAU, Change Management and Strategic Changes around Trade & Txn reporting. Client is looking to replace incumbent vendor with another vendor.
Responsibilities
- 1) BAU / Production Support - Provide L2/L3 support for Axiom TTR applications - Investigate and resolve data, mapping, and reconciliation issues - Perform data validation and report reconciliation across - upstream/downstream systems - Ensure timely resolution of production incidents and SLA adherence 2) Strategic & Change Initiatives - Design and develop Axiom data models, portfolios, rules, and reports - Implement enhancements to existing TTR frameworks - Optimize performance and improve data processing efficiency - Collaborate with global stakeholders on platform modernization initiatives 3) Regulatory Change Delivery - Analyze and implement changes for regulations such as: EMIR Refit - MiFID II / MiFIR - / MAS / CFTC reporting - Translate regulatory requirements into functional & technical specifications - Perform impact analysis, development, testing, and deployment
SKILLS
Must have
- 3 to 6 years of overall experience in Finance industry with minimum 2 years in Axiom Controller View
- Good understanding of axiom objects / functionalities - Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthand's, Portfolios, Aggregations, Fee Form, Tabular Report, workflow, sign-off, freezing etc.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, understanding of relational data modelling
- Experience with any major relational database (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, SYBASE)
- Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting
- Good understanding and experience in client-server applications development
- Good understanding of OOP and design patterns
- Familiarity with Agile process

Experience in cloud or data platforms Exposure to Agile / DevOps environments Prior experience with global banks or regulatory programs
