QA Engineer (Game Development)
Playcus, developer of top-rated games for Mobile and PC platforms, seeks a QA engineer for their team.
Responsibilities
- Document bugs with clear and straightforward reproducible steps and check similar issues being tested
- Maintain bugs in the database through their entire life cycle
- Perform testing assignments with limited supervision
- Identify issues outside normal test boundaries
- Report on user experience and test results, escalating when necessary
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Effectively report bugs and errors to development teams
- Take part of an agile team, working closely with developers, QA, DevOps
- Execute results in analysis and improvements suggestions
Qualifications
- IT background in Game Development considered an advantage
- Ability to identify bugs, duplicate them, perform research, and track lifecycle
- Detail-oriented and organized thought process
- Proactive mindset with multitasking ability
- Positive attitude, good people skills, effective team collaboration
