Our flagship project, One State, is currently in soft launch and actively evolving. It is a complex live F2P product with a player-driven economy designed for long-term growth without regular wipes. Developing and maintaining such a system requires a deep understanding of player behavior, strong prioritization skills, and close collaboration across product, design, analytics, and live operations.
What we want to see:
- Experience working on F2P projects (mid-core / hardcore)
- Experience leading product teams (10+ people)
- Experience in building a project roadmap, including its defense and execution
- Experience working cross-functionally or within teams such as:
- Marketing
- Monetization
- LiveOps - Strong ability to work with analytics
- Ability to clearly formulate requests for research and dashboards
- Understanding the role and value of analytics within a team
Additionally, it would be great to have:
- Experience working with mobile mid-core / hardcore projects
- Strong exposure to MMO games
- Experience playing RolePlay (RP) games
- Experience conducting UX tests, CustDev, and focus groups
- Experience working with progression systems
- Experience as a systems game designer
- Basic knowledge of SQL / Python - ability to independently write simple database queries (SELECT* does not count)
What you will be doing:
- Implement gameplay and meta-systems with a focus on the project’s loyal users
- Conduct research together with analysts and identify growth opportunities within the area of responsibility
- Take ownership of the results of released features
- Prioritize and manage the backlog within the assigned direction
- Run CustDev sessions and playtests, study real user UX, and apply insights in practice
- Participate in shaping the long-term vision for the stream
