Finom is building AI into the core of how SMEs manage their finances — not a bolt-on feature, a fundamental shift in how the product works.
We're hiring a Principal PM to own the Finom AI roadmap. This is a step-up role for someone who treats ambiguity as the job, not an obstacle to it.
What you'll do:
Set the vision and roadmap for AI-native product experiences across the platform — you're writing the playbook, not following one
Work day-to-day alongside AI engineers as a technical peer — you understand model capability and constraints well enough to make real trade-off calls, not just translate requirements
Prototype relentlessly — you'd rather ship a rough version and learn than spend three weeks speccing the perfect one
Find creative, scrappy paths to outcomes when the obvious path is blocked — resourcefulness is a core part of this role, not a nice-to-have
Balance experimentation speed with the rigor fintech demands — this is regulated money, and "move fast" doesn't mean "move sloppy"
Make the commercial case for what you build, grounded in metrics you can defend
What we're looking for:
Proven PM experience at Principal/Lead level, ideally with real exposure to AI/ML-powered products — not just "used ChatGPT a lot".
Technical fluency , you can hold your own in a conversation with an AI Engineer about what's feasible, and know the difference between a model limitation and a product decision.
An entrepreneurial streak , you've built something from ambiguity before, ideally more than once
Strong systems thinking: you can zoom from strategy to a specific implementation detail and back without losing the thread.
Comfort with commercial rigor , you can hold "customer value" and "business impact" as one conversation, not two.
