Principal Delivery Manager (Energy Domain)

EPAM Greece is seeking a Greek-speaking Principal Delivery Manager to work with local Energy domain accounts. The role involves owning delivery, handling customer relationships, driving business development, structuring delivery teams, and managing financial aspects.

Regular visits to client offices in Athens are required (2–3 times weekly), and candidates must have C1-level Greek and B2-level English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivery for one or several accounts, ensuring projects run smoothly, quality is maintained, and clients remain satisfied
• Structure delivery teams and launch new projects, making sure the right talent, skills, and delivery framework are established
• Directly handle select high-priority projects, personally overseeing delivery, risk management, timelines, quality, and stakeholder communication
• Work alongside Managers and Client Partners to achieve successful delivery outcomes and maintain solid client relationships
• Assume responsibility for delivery on both new and existing accounts, including onboarding new accounts and engaging in consultative selling
• Serve as the main client contact and manage ongoing customer relationships
• Contribute to business development efforts and assist with financial monitoring
• Supervise delivery workflows, project implementation, risk factors, and quality benchmarks
• Participate in presales activities and consultative selling spanning various technologies
• Deliver high-level architectural guidance and assist with SDLC setup for technically complex projects
• Make regular visits to Athens-based client offices to sustain strong engagement
• Remain flexible across different account types, whether new, existing, or a mix of both
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure project success and enhance client value

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience within the software implementation field
• More than 5 years managing enterprise-level software projects with annual budgets above $1M
• Demonstrated background in presales and consultative selling across diverse technologies
• Greek language skills at C1 level
• English language skills at B2 level
• Prior experience as a delivery manager establishing SDLC frameworks and offering high-level architectural insights (preferred)
• Solid knowledge of local Energy sector companies and market conditions (preferred)
