The Presales Engineer is tasked primarily to provide pre-sales technical support to customers by identifying their requirements and designing a commercially viable solution from within the company’s product portfolio. The role is responsible for support of KL members of sales team and channel partners in convincing customer about KL expertise and products win over competition, perform POCs with positive feedbacks. The role is mostly concentrated on end customers, but also be involved in channel support facing activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Be the customer’s Technology Strategy Trusted Advisor
- Ensures Selling Strategy aligns to the Technology Strategy and meets customers’ needs
- Establish and drive the Strategic Technology Plan by tightly-integrating customer priorities with Kaspersky Lab strategic capabilities & positioning Security vision across all customers
- Accelerate customer’s transition to the new product/s by ensuring their infrastructure is ready and the strategic technology plan supports a smooth transition. Clear any technical blockers identified
- Drive the successful product deployment & adoption
- Provides technical support to customers
- Presents KL brand and products / solutions at conferences and other events
- Adjust existing or develop new training and deliver them to educate channel partner teams on full scope of KL solutions
- Provides coaching and professional development to technical teams of partners in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills
- Provides product knowledge and technical support to channel partners and channel team members
- Works closely with territory channel team to identify gaps in technical education
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in cyber security presales management or 5+ years in cyber security technical positions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Certification in IT, security are preferred
- Deep proven knowledge of the following security technologies (EP, EDR, Anti APT and Threat Intel)
- Experience in interacting with end users, top executives and managers
- Knowledge of competitors solutions/portfolio
- Experience in working with large scale projects and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders
- Fluent English
