Power BI Engineer, Analytics Hub
About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. You will develop semantic models, create scalable dashboards, support data governance initiatives, and work closely with stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable insights.

You will work on a modern enterprise analytics platform that supports business intelligence, reporting, and data driven decision making across multiple business domains. The project focuses on building scalable reporting solutions, connecting data platforms with business users, and improving governance, performance, and data quality across the analytics ecosystem.
About the Team
You will collaborate with data engineers, analytics engineers, business stakeholders, and leadership teams to deliver reporting and analytics solutions. The team works closely across multiple departments, emphasizing knowledge sharing, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build and maintain data models, configure data sources, and optimize report performance.
- Develop DAX measures, calculations, and advanced analytics solutions using PBIP.
- Troubleshoot data quality, refresh, and performance issues.
- Design semantic data models connecting Snowflake data warehouse environments to Power BI.
- Create and maintain Power Query scripts using M Language for data transformation and ETL processes.
- Define and manage business logic through DAX calculations and measures.
- Support Dataflow Gen2 integrations and data refresh processes.
- Document data lineage, model relationships, and reporting architecture.
- Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver actionable insights.
- Present analytical findings to leadership and operational teams.
- Validate data consistency between data warehouse and reporting layers.
- Maintain Power BI report inventories and technical documentation.
- Contribute to governance initiatives, including naming conventions, security models, and access management.
- Support compliance, audit, and data governance requirements.
- Lead analytics initiatives across multiple business domains.
- Drive proof of concept projects that evaluate new BI patterns, tools, and technologies.
- Contribute to analytics standardization and platform scalability initiatives.
- Leverage Copilot and AI tools to improve analytics productivity and delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Power BI report development and administration.
- Experience creating and optimizing semantic data models.
- Proficiency with DAX, including advanced measures and calculations.
- Experience working with PBIP projects.
- Strong knowledge of Power Query and M Language.
- Experience with SQL development and query optimization.
- Hands on experience working with Snowflake data warehouses.
- Experience validating and reconciling data between reporting and warehouse layers.
- Knowledge of Dataflow Gen2 and data refresh processes.
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage documentation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Experience creating technical documentation for reports, data models, and data pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience using AI assisted tools such as Copilot to accelerate analytics delivery.

- Experience with SSMS administration and optimization.
