We are seeking a Non-Functional Test Automation Engineer to join our team.
This role is part of the engineering organization and focuses on quality ownership within the product team. It is not a standalone or siloed QA position but a collaborative role contributing directly to product delivery, stability and scalability.
Testing of the application ecosystem used for connectivity between equipment producers (OEMs) and manufacturing companies (FABs).
The deployment of the ecosystem is worldwide, with a rapidly growing number of endpoints.
The whole ecosystem uses a high availability approach to ensure reliable client services.
The project focuses on functional and non-functional testing of the orchestration portal (web-based), ensuring user role access rights validation, remote connectivity functionality, file transfer operations, equipment access validation and overall regression functionality.
The project uses web-based technologies (HTTPS, WebSockets) but includes edge-connection software for various platforms (Linux, Windows, Solaris), utilizing last-mile protocols such as SCP, FTP, HTTP over a secure VPN connection (IPsec VPN).
For the non-functional testing part, the project will focus on stability, performance, throughput, high availability and scalability testing.
