Middle+/Senior .NET Backend Developer

We are currently looking for a .NET Backend Developer (Middle+/Senior) to join our backend team and work on the development and maintenance of high-traffic server-side services. You will work on the architecture and performance of backend systems, ensure their stability, fault tolerance, and scalability, and participate in solving technically complex problems.

Tasks that you have to work with:

• Design, development, and maintenance of high-traffic backend services using C# and .NET.
• Design, implementation, and maintenance of REST API meta-services (profiles, inventory, leaderboards).
• Design and development of microservice architecture, ensuring reliable communication between services.
• Implementation of asynchronous data processing and event-driven service communication using Kafka.
• Optimization of performance, scalability, and fault tolerance of backend systems.
• Monitoring and diagnostics of service performance, analysis and resolution of performance issues.

It will help you with this:

• Proficient in C# and .NET, with at least 3 years of professional development experience.
• Experience developing backend services using ASP.NET Core, with knowledge of REST APIs and gRPC.
• Knowledge of software design principles, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, indexes, and query optimization.
• Practical experience with MongoDB, understanding of the characteristics of document-based databases.
• Experience using Redis / KeyDB.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka or RabbitMQ), understanding of asynchronous and event-driven data processing.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture, core design patterns, and distributed system interactions.
• Understanding of the principles of fault tolerance, load balancing, scaling, and protecting services from overloads and failures.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using Prometheus, Grafana, and application diagnostics tools.
• Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience developing high-traffic systems and optimizing their performance.

Would be a plus:

• Experience developing backend services in GameDev.
• Experience working with ClickHouse and large datasets.
• Experience building geographically distributed and fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience using OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing.
• Experience with load testing and profiling .NET applications.
