Middle Automation Tester in Java
We are looking for a Middle Automation Tester in Java to join our remote team. As a key figure within the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software solutions by developing and executing automated tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing effective testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of our software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions in line with project goals and timelines
- Implement effective testing strategies, promoting efficient and effective testing practices
- Participate in the Agile and Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Develop and execute test cases and test strategies, ensuring efficient and effective testing practices
- Optimize software solutions by identifying and addressing system testing and performance testing issues
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure effective testing practices and efficient delivery of software solutions
- Continuously evaluate industry trends and best practices to refine and implement the most effective testing strategies
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, promoting effective teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Automation Testing, with a primary focus on Java-based automation
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Experience with test automation tools such as Postman, Scala Test, and Web Service/API Test Automation, ensuring efficient and scalable testing practices
- Proficient in developing and executing test cases and test strategies, promoting efficient and effective testing practices
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and Jira, enabling effective version control, collaboration, and project management
- Strong understanding of System Testing and Performance Testing, facilitating the optimization of software solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making in complex environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, promoting effective collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team
- Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
- Experience with other testing tools such as Selenium and Appium
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Concourse and Datadog, promoting efficient and effective testing practices
- Knowledge of AWS
