Middle Automation Tester
We are seeking a skilled Middle Automation Tester to join our remote team, responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality of our software solutions. 5 Years of experience in Quality Assurance, we are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in test automation development or a combination of development and testing experience. As a Middle Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our information systems services and programs meet acceptance criteria by creating and maintaining automated scripts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of our software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Participate in design reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
- Create and maintain test cases and test suites, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all features and functionalities
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure the reliability of our software solutions
- Write unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Prepare detailed reports covering all aspects of software testing, including identified issues and testing outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in test automation development or a combination of development and testing experience
- Expertise in Java programming language, showcasing your proficiency in creating and maintaining automation scripts
- Experience in REST and SOAP API testing, preferably using tools like SOAPUI and Groovy Scripting
- In-depth knowledge of Selenium or similar tools in this space, enabling you to develop and maintain automated tests
- Strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Experience in agile methodology, reflecting your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, crucial for maintaining structured and organized testing efforts
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
- Experience in load testing and performance testing methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of security testing and vulnerability testing methodologies and tools
- Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing purposes
