Localization Specialist

We’re looking for a Localization Specialist — someone detail-driven, culturally aware, and passionate about ensuring high-quality, localized experiences for our global audience. You’ll thrive here if you understand linguistic nuances, can adapt texts to various cultures while preserving the brand's tone, and are ready to deliver top-tier quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the adaptation of in-game texts, UI elements, and marketing copy into 16+ languages.
- Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and a consistent tone of voice across the entire application.
- Collaborate closely with translators, copywriters, and project managers to integrate localized content, review it in-context, and address localization bugs.
- Manage character limits and UI constraints to ensure translations fit perfectly within the app design.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in localization or translation, ideally within mobile games or tech products.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Russian (C1 or higher) and fluent English.
- Strong attention to detail with a solid linguistic foundation.
- Ability to work within iterative feedback loops and adjust translations to fit strict UI character limits.
- Ability to propose fresh linguistic ideas and keep track of current trends in the global mobile gaming market.
Nice to have:
- Fluency in French, Turkish, Chinese, or Japanese, with experience adapting content for these specific markets.
