Cubic Games is a development studio within the GDEV holding. We've grown from a small team into a leading game development studio with over 120 specialists. Our mission is to create unique pixel-style games, including the popular Pixel Gun 3D, which attracts over 3 million monthly active players.
We are currently working on our next big project — Pixel Gun 2, a cross-platform PvP arena shooter — and we're looking for a talented Level Designer to help create exciting PvP maps for players around the world.

Responsibilities:
- Create new multiplayer PvP maps, from prototyping to final polish in Unity
- Own the entire level design pipeline — from concept to implementation and post-launch evaluation
- Work with scripts and configuration files, including their setup and tuning
- Set up bots, their behavior paths, and loadouts
- Collaborate closely with Art and Development teams to bring levels to a polished state
- Conduct playtests, gather feedback, and make adjustments to improve gameplay quality
- Analyze player feedback and analytics to drive level design improvements
Who are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience as a Level Designer in the game industry, preferably in shooter titles
- Russian language proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Hands-on experience creating PvP maps, especially for mobile or PC games
- Solid understanding of mobile PvP gameplay
- Excellent knowledge of level design principles for PvP and PvE COOP, with an ability to create engaging and balanced environments
- Understanding of color theory, composition, and spatial design basics
- Strong Unity skills and proficiency with greyboxing tools (e.g., ProBuilder, 3ds Max, Blender, Sketch, etc.)
- Ability to clearly articulate and present your ideas
- Team player with great communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to analyze feedback and data, and translate it into actionable improvements
- Official employment according to the Labor Code of Armenia or Cyprus, or a remote work contract.
- Flexibility in choosing the workplace: remote work or visiting offices in Armenia or Cyprus as desired.
