Legal Counsel

As our Legal Counsel, you will own and shape the legal operations for our fast-growing tech platform. You will be responsible for handling high-stakes regulatory requirements surrounding AI-generated content, verification, data protection, and platform safety. This is a hands-on role suited for a seasoned legal professional with 5+ years of experience in consumer tech, AI, or regulated digital environments who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Job responsibilities

• Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), regulatory risk assessments, transparency reports, and incident response procedures.
• Oversee verification, content moderation, trust and safety protocols, and platform investigations related to AI-generated images, voice, video, deepfakes, and personality rights.
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements with AI providers, cloud infrastructure vendors, payment processors, acquiring banks, and card schemes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities, digital services regulators, consumer protection bodies, and law enforcement agencies.

  Establish and refine scalable internal legal processes, policies, and governance frameworks to support a rapidly growing company.

You will thrive here if you have…

• 5+ years of overall legal experience, with at least 2 years in a directly relevant position.
• Previous experience at an AI company, social platform, dating service, entertainment business, gaming company, creator platform, or another regulated consumer technology service.
• Direct experience with data protection, platform safety/moderation, deepfake/AI regulation, payment processor/bank negotiations, and regulatory authority communications.
• English proficiency and Greek is a plus
