Legal Counsel

About the role 

We are seeking a junior to mid-level Corporate Legal Counsel to join our growing legal team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to support a fast-paced fintech business operating across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with senior counsel and business stakeholders on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.

Reporting line: Chief Legal Officer

Responsibilities: 

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including service
  agreements, SaaS/technology agreements, NDAs, and vendor arrangements.
• Support corporate governance, entity management, and cross-border structuring across
  group jurisdictions.
• Assist with regulatory and licensing matters, liaising with regulators as required.
• Advise on data protection, AML/KYC, and consumer protection obligations relevant to
  fintech products.
• Help develop internal policies, templates, and compliance processes.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer with 2–5 years' PQE, preferably common law qualified (e.g. England &Wales, or another common law jurisdiction).
• Strong corporate/commercial background, ideally with exposure to fintech, financial services, payments, or technology.
• Familiarity with UAE and/or DIFC/ADGM regulatory frameworks is an advantage (orwillingness to develop it quickly).
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Commercially pragmatic, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
