Lead Scala Developer

Responsibilities
- Write backend services using Scala within microservice architecture
- Create solutions utilizing Amazon Web Services
- Participate in defining project requirements with cross-functional teams
- Ensure existing applications perform optimally
- Identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to decisions
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Scala
- Leadership experience of at least 1 year
- Proficiency in microservice architecture
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team environment
- B2-level or higher fluency in written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Competency in Kafka
- Understanding of Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Kibana and Grafana
- Background in data engineering
- Familiarity with the Java programming language
