Lead Quality Engineer
Technical Must Have Requirements
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript and Java
- Deep knowledge and experience of Playwright frameworks as well as with experience with Cucumber, Selenium/Cypress/Appium

Essential functions
- Own E2E quality assurance for homegrown, highly scalable platforms in the retail / order management domain, including manual and automated testing
- Execute manual E2E testing by posting orders/events using Bruno, validating transactions using JSON/XML, APIs, and backend flows across systems
- Design, create, update, and execute automation testing experience using Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium/Cypress/Appium and manage test coverage and traceability using Xray
- Perform API, integration, and platform testing for Java based applications with synchronous and asynchronous integrations (Kafka, Amazon MQ)
- Validate logs, metrics, and traces using Splunk, Grafana, OpenTelemetry (OTEL) to ensure data correctness and system reliability
- Demonstrate strong hands on AWS experience, understanding cloud environments, deployments, and distributed system behaviour
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and platform teams across geographies, driving quality from design through production
- Support testing across build, release, and production readiness, with willingness to perform manual testing where required
- Champion an AI-first mindset, leveraging modern tools such as Cursor to improve test productivity, learning, and quality outcomes.
