Lead Magento Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Magento Engineer to join a new initiative focused on integrating Food Ordering capabilities into an existing platform built on Headless Adobe Commerce, connected with Adobe AEM and Adobe SaaS Services.

Responsibilities

Create and sustain GraphQL-driven headless Adobe Commerce solutions
Apply OOP framework concepts and design patterns across the platform's architecture
Construct and integrate features using Adobe Commerce SaaS services, AppBuilder apps, and APIMesh
Write clean, sustainable PHP code that addresses XML handling, files, sessions, cookies, exceptions, and error processing
Architect and develop RESTful APIs consistent with industry standards
Create and execute Unit tests using PHPUnit
Collaborate with distributed teams following Agile development methodologies
Manage code versioning and collaborative workflows through Git-based platforms
Sustain clear communication with team members and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

5+ years working with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) headless development utilizing GraphQL
Knowledge of OOP frameworks and design patterns
Proficiency in PHP, encompassing XML, file handling, sessions, cookies, exceptions, and error processing
Practical experience with Adobe Commerce SaaS services (LiveSearch, CatalogService), AppBuilder apps, and APIMesh
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitLab, ADO, etc)
Strong foundation in Web Services frameworks and RESTful API standards
Practical knowledge of PHPUnit and Unit test creation
Understanding of Agile development methodologies
Intermediate or higher spoken English ability
Capability to work effectively as part of a distributed team
Strong reliability, accountability, and communication abilities
