Lead Business Analyst - Financial Services
We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to shape product direction in Financial Services with a strong Wealth Management focus. You will partner with the proxy product owner to refine capabilities, write epics and stories, and manage backlog priorities across Agile delivery.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the onsite proxy product owner to understand the product vision and product roadmap
- Identify and document product capabilities, features, and functions
- Define epics and stories along with clear success criteria
- Elaborate stories by detailing business logic and expected business results
- Manage product scope and prioritize capabilities, epics, and stories
- Participate in sprint review demos and provide actionable feedback
- Track feedback and ensure it is incorporated and prioritized in the backlog
- Participate in incident triaging activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business questions and clarifications
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience (10-15 years overall), including 8+ years in business analysis and requirements management
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; master's degree in computer science is a plus
- Background in product management and product thinking
- Experience in financial services, ideally with emphasis on wealth management
- Strong business acumen with the ability to bring a business and end client perspective
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
