Junior Project Manager

About the Position

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support software development projects in the retail domain. You will work closely with experienced delivery leaders and cross functional teams to coordinate activities, maintain project visibility, and ensure smooth communication between stakeholders.

About the Project

The project focuses on developing and enhancing retail software solutions, including e commerce platforms, order management systems, point of sale solutions, and ERP integrations. You will support cross functional delivery efforts and contribute to improving operational efficiency across digital retail channels.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities across the full software development lifecycle
• Coordinate tasks and communication between development teams and business stakeholders
• Maintain project schedules, track task progress, and update risk and issue logs
• Participate in team meetings and ensure follow up on action items
• Maintain and update project documentation and reporting materials
• Identify and escalate risks and impediments in a timely manner to project leadership

Requirements

• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle SDLC
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles and team roles
• Experience with task tracking tools such as Jira, YouTrack, or similar systems
• General understanding of software development concepts including frontend, backend, APIs, and testing practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail, ecommerce, or logistics related projects
• Background in project coordination, business analysis, quality assurance, or IT support
• Experience using Confluence, Notion, Excel, or Google Sheets
