Junior Cloud Engineer
We are searching for a Junior Cloud Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will take part in shaping an up-to-date, automated and trustworthy cloud environment that drives key business activities. Collaborating with experienced specialists across a range of disciplines, you will help create scalable solutions and promote technical quality in a lively and continuously evolving workplace.
Responsibilities
- Develop a complete understanding of how current build and deployment processes operate, along with their associated pipelines
- Design, develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines and deployment procedures for the modernization team, while contributing to the vision for the future automation architecture
- Keep systems reliable and scalable through continuous monitoring activities and ongoing performance improvements
- Provide support during platform and capability deployments across multiple environments, including identifying issues and implementing remedies
- Cooperate with the cybersecurity team to safeguard systems and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory expectations
- Create and keep up to date technical documentation and engineering guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on professional experience in a related area
- Sound knowledge of cloud infrastructure, ideally with Microsoft Azure
- Clear understanding and practical experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes, Docker/Podman and Helm
- Networking skills with emphasis on containerized ecosystems
- Real-world exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation utilities such as Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Argo or GitHub Actions
- Competent programming skills in C#, Java, Python or a similar language
- Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Strong written and spoken English communication at a B2+ level or higher
