Industrial Data Engineer

Project description

The project aims to enable an end‑to‑end industrial data platform by integrating OT systems (plant equipment, PLCs, sensors) with IT and cloud environments, supporting real-time data capture, processing, and analytics to improve operational efficiency, safety, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design of ETL/ELT pipelines from edge to cloud
• Aggregation, cleaning, and standardization of industrial data
• Integration with corporate Data Lakes
• Data quality control and traceability
• Coordination with OT teams to minimize plant impact

SKILLS

Must have

• A degree in Computer Engineering or similar is required.
• Experience in data engineering and knowledge of the industrial context (senior level) are required.
• 6+ years of experience
• Python, SQL, lightweight Spark, APIs
• MQTT/HTTP, Data Lake, TSDB
• Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Must not program PLCs or operate OT systems
• On-site work model
• Travel required to visit plants and work onsite within Spain and potentially abroad after rollout.
• English B2 (good spoken level)
