Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for an institutional crypto infrastructure business, working closely with the Founder and leadership team.
- Act as a strong product and market counterpart to the Founder: challenge assumptions, develop independent points of view, and support product decisions with market evidence, customer insights, and data.
- Identify opportunities, move fast to test them, launch what works, skip what doesn't
- Lead products from 0→1 — from identifying the market problem and defining the proposition through MVP, first customers, commercial launch, and iteration.
- Translate complex technical infrastructure into products that solve real institutional customer needs and have a clear commercial model.
- Make informed product and architecture trade-offs involving technologies such as MPC, multi-signature, HSM, private key management, and blockchain infrastructure.
- Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape across custody technology providers, regulated custodians, prime brokers, liquidity providers, and institutional trading infrastructure.
- Own the commercial side of product decisions, including pricing, revenue models, unit economics, market sizing, and business cases for new products.
- Work closely with enterprise customers and commercial teams to understand institutional requirements, validate product-market fit, and support complex sales and integration cycles.
- Incorporate regulatory and compliance requirements into product architecture, workflows, customer experience, operating models, and go-to-market strategy.
- Build the initial product team and operating model, including hiring the first key team members, defining responsibilities, and establishing effective product processes.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Compliance, Sales, Operations, and other functions to take products from concept to production and commercial adoption.
- Define product KPIs and use customer, market, product, and commercial data to evaluate performance and prioritize investment.
