This is a global strategic role based in Beijing. You will act as the central production hub for our worldwide teams, transforming creative concepts into physical products manufactured in China and delivered globally. We are looking for a strategic manager who can leverage China's supply chain to power our global brand presence.
RESPONSILIBITIES
1.Global Product Development & Design Liaison Partner with design and brand teams across global offices to lead the development of all merchandise, marketing materials, and event assets. Serve as the primary liaison, translating global design requirements into actionable production briefs for Chinese manufacturers. Provide expert consultation on material selection, production techniques, and cost structures to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with global brand standards. 2. Production & Global Supply Chain Management Leverage China's manufacturing ecosystem to develop and manage a premium supplier base across printing, gifts, textiles, electronics, and other categories, ensuring their capability to handle global orders. Oversee the entire production cycle – sampling, mass production, quality assurance – ensuring every item meets global brand standards before shipment. Manage end-to-end logistics coordination with freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery to various international destinations. Drive continuous cost optimization through strategic sourcing, volume negotiation, and supplier performance management. 3. Global Program & Process Management Develop and manage budgets for global merchandise programs, conducting cross-border cost analysis and reporting. Establish and implement standardized global operating procedures (SOPs) for production management, covering request intake, sampling approval, quality inspection, and international logistics coordination. Proactively identify and mitigate risks across production and international shipping, providing agile solutions to ensure on-time global delivery. 4. Market Intelligence & Global Innovation Stay ahead of new materials and manufacturing innovations within China, sharing insights and opportunities with global teams to enhance future product offerings. Propose creative, culturally-aware merchandise concepts tailored for different global markets, ensuring relevance and appeal across regions.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, International Business, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in production, procurement, or global project management within the merchandise or print industry. Deep knowledge of global manufacturing processes, materials, and cost structures for diverse product categories (especially paper goods, textiles, and promotional items). Proven ability to manage complex, multi-country projects and timelines simultaneously. Strong aesthetic sensibility and the ability to communicate fluently with global design and creative teams. Excellent cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Language Proficiency: Native or professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese; professional working proficiency in English (required for seamless communication with global stakeholders).
