Genedata Engineer
Responsibilities
- Configure, support, and enhance Genedata Screener for small-molecule research
- Work with scientists to translate chemistry and assay workflows into system configurations and integrations
- Build and maintain integrations with other scientific and enterprise systems
- Support data import/export, migration, and processing workflows
- Develop scripts and automation using Python
- Troubleshoot Genedata applications, integrations, and Linux server environments
- Collaborate with scientists and IT teams to improve scientific workflows and system usability
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with Genedata in a small-molecule environment
- Background in chemistry, cheminformatics, medicinal chemistry, or drug discovery
- Strong Python skills
- Strong Linux experience, including server-side troubleshooting
- Experience with scientific data workflows, integrations, and APIs
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with scientists and technical teams
Nice to have
- Experience with data migration between scientific R&D systems
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with Git and other software development tools
- Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience
