Game Designer (Co-op Adventure PC Game)

Estoty, founded in 2012 in Riga, Latvia, expanded with a second studio in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2014. Today Estoty is known as a creative video game developer with a keen eye for detail, crafting games across all platforms including PC, mobile, and VR.

This success has empowered Estoty to take on larger-scale projects, expanding its creative vision and pushing the boundaries of gameplay and storytelling.

We’re looking for a Game Designer to join our team and help us continue building The Missing Tail, our newly announced PC game. If you love designing co-op gameplay, puzzles, and fun player interactions, and enjoy working closely with a small, collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you.

• Design co-op mechanics and puzzles;
   
• Present design ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing;
   
• Work closely with artists and programmers to bring gameplay ideas to life;
   
• Balance pacing, difficulty, and progression;
   
• Use playtest feedback to improve the experience;
   
• Maintain clear and practical design documentation.
   

• Strong understanding of game design fundamentals;
   
• Experience with puzzles and gameplay systems;
   
• Ability to design engaging gameplay for two-player co-op;
   
• Good sense of player flow and pacing;
   
• Comfortable working in Unity;
   
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
   
• Proactive and able to work independently.
   

• Experience with co-op, platforming or adventure games;
   
• Experience with quest design or light narrative systems;
   
• Experience shipping a PC or console game.
   

• Onsite position in Vilnius office;
   
• A casual but professional working environment;
   
• The opportunity to help shape and build a playful PC game;
   
• A salary of 3,000–4,000 EUR gross, depending on experience.
