About the Position
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong Python and JavaScript experience to join the Publishing Administration technology stream. The team develops internal platforms and operational tools that support music rights administration, royalty processing, metadata management, licensing workflows, and analytics.
The role includes both backend and frontend development, with a strong focus on scalable internal platforms, workflow automation, integrations, and data driven applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using Python and JavaScript or TypeScript
- Build modern frontend interfaces and internal operational dashboards
- Develop backend APIs and services for publishing administration workflows
- Create tools for royalty processing, rights tracking, metadata management, and operational support
- Build integrations with external systems, DSPs, licensing platforms, and internal Sony systems
- Design and optimize ETL and data processing pipelines
- Work with large music catalog datasets and publishing administration data
- Collaborate with product managers, publishing operations teams, analysts, and architects
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
- Improve system scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python
- Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React
- Experience building backend APIs and microservices
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Understanding of scalable web application architecture
- Experience with REST APIs and third party integrations
- Familiarity with Docker and CI CD pipelines
- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross functional teams

- Experience with music publishing, royalties, licensing, or rights management systems
- Experience with Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, or data engineering workflows
- Experience with GraphQL
- Knowledge of event driven architectures
- Experience with operational analytics and reporting tools
