The project is a Trading and Position platform Implementation for Commodity products.
The team is responsible for the build of a trading application used for:
• Pre-deal origination workflow and post execution monitoring and life-cycle management.
• Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business
• Leverage strategic standard risk systems
• Integration with Operations, Finance
• Reporting, Reconciliation
• Accounting

The Front Office Stream Lead will act as the primary interface between Trading, Risk, IT, and the Orchestrade implementation partner, ensuring the solution supports current and future Front Office operating needs.
Responsibilities
- Front Office Delivery
- Work on Front Office Power topic for a trading implementation in-house
- Own Front Office scope, priorities, roadmap, and dependencies within the wider program
- Ensure Front Office requirements are accurately translated into configurations items and solutions
Business Requirements & Design
- Gather, challenge, and document Front Office business requirements across:
o Trading workflows and deal entry
o Product modelling for Power and Certificates
o Risk metrics, exposures and reporting
o Trade lifecycle events and position management
- Drive Front Office solution design, ensuring alignment with best practices and Orchestrade capabilities
- Validate functional design documents and configuration choices
Implementation & Configuration Oversight
- Oversee configuration of Orchestrade Front Office components, including:
o Products, deals, pricing, and lifecycle events
o Exposure, risk, and P&L views
o Trade booking and validation rules
- Provide hands-on Front Office expertise to resolve design and implementation challenges
- Ensure consistency between Front Office, Risk, and downstream processes
Testing & Readiness
- Lead Front Office testing activities, including:
o System Integration Testing (SIT)
o User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Define Front Office test scenarios and success criteria
- Support trader and Front Office user readiness for go live
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary Front Office point of contact for:
o Traders and Front Office management
o Risk and Middle Office teams
o IT and data teams
o Orchestrade vendor and implementation partners
- Provide regular status updates, risk visibility, and decision support to program governance
SKILLS
Must have
- Mandatory Skills Description - Front Office & ETRM Systems
- Strong Front Office experience within Energy Trading & Risk Management on Power
- Proven experience implementing related to Power and Certificates on Commodities
- Deep understanding of Front Office trading processes and system usage
- Experience across Power, Certificates, including physical and financial contracts
Product & Market Knowledge
- Solid understanding of:
o Physical and financial Power and Gas trading
o Biomethane contracts and lifecycle considerations
o Environmental products (e.g. Guarantees of Origin, Certificates)
- Understanding of Front Office risk metrics and exposure management
Management
- Strong leadership of functional workstreams within large transformation programs
- Ability to bridge business and technology effectively
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Structured, delivery-focused mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to challenge requirements and drive pragmatic solutions
Nice to have
• Degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline
• ETRM system certifications or energy trading qualifications are advantageous
