Freelance Illustrator (Semi-Realistic Illustrations)
Grafit is an art outsourcing studio and online academy for artists. For over 15 years, we have been creating illustrations, concepts, 3D assets, and animations for games, movies, and books. Our team is comprised of over a hundred talented artists and managers. Most of our clients are major international studios, including Blizzard, Riot Games, NCSoft, CD Projekt RED, and others.
We are growing rapidly and expanding our team to better serve our existing clients and continuously join the production of new games.
About the Role
We’re looking for a freelance illustrator with a strong focus on semi-realistic character and/or environment art to join a high-profile cinematic project for a renowned AAA game studio. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a visually ambitious title from one of the most respected names in the industry.
At Grafit, you’ll be part of a team of experienced artists working on key visual assets for this flagship title. The project requires high attention to detail, strong storytelling through design, and stylistic consistency within a semi-realistic aesthetic.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as an illustrator in game development
- Excellent skills in drawing, anatomy, composition, and color theory
- Ability to produce refined, final-quality illustrations
- A portfolio that demonstrates semi-realistic characters across different genres (fantasy, sci-fi, etc.)
- Confidence working with AAA-level visual standards and feedback cycles
