Fraud Analyst - German Market 🇩🇪
Join us as a Fraud Analyst to protect our customers by detecting and preventing various types of fraud. You will be part of our newly created specialized Fraud team, focusing on safeguarding Qonto's German market customers from scams and fraudulent activities.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Fraud Analyst at Qonto, you will
- Monitor and analyze transactions to detect fraud patterns, focusing on scams, phishing attempts, and account takeover activities
- Conduct risk assessments for new products and features while ensuring robust onboarding fraud prevention
- Investigate potential fraud cases and implement preventive measures across financing and payment products
- Collaborate with Risk and AML teams to enhance fraud detection capabilities and align strategies
- Deliver high-quality, timely fraud analysis while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Adina, our Team Lead Fraud, will be the one to help you succeed.
Her path? Adina joined Qonto in September 2025 as Fraud Lead Germany, leading the analysis of complex fraud cases and reviewing transaction flows. Before Qonto, she spent 2.5 years at PwC as a Financial Crime / AML Analyst, managing high-priority cases and building relationships with internal stakeholders to drive timely resolutions.
🏅 About You
- Experience: You have at least 1-2 year experience in fraud detection, AML, or a similar field involving alert processing and investigation
- Languages: You are bilingual in English and German, as you'll be primarily handling the German market
- Analytical mindset: You have strong analytical and creative thinking skills to detect patterns and solve complex fraud cases
- Communication skills: You can communicate effectively with customers and counterparties when gathering information about potential fraud cases
- Learning mindset: You're open to feedback and motivated to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
