We are looking for a hands-on Driver Operations Country Manager to support and develop Driver Operations in Senegal.
The role will focus on day-to-day driver operations, driver acquisition, activation, marketplace monitoring, and field execution. The person will work closely with drivers, acquisition agents, local partners, and the HQ team to improve driver supply and marketplace performance.
We are looking for someone with experience in operations, ideally in ride-hailing, mobility, delivery, logistics, or another marketplace business. Knowledge of the Senegal / Dakar market is a strong advantage.
A hands-on operations professional who understands how field operations and marketplace businesses work.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, coordinating agents, talking directly with drivers, and executing operational projects.
Ride-hailing experience in Senegal would be a strong advantage, but we are also open to candidates from mobility, delivery, logistics, marketplaces, or similar operational businesses.

Driver Operations & Marketplace
- Monitor key driver and marketplace metrics, including active drivers, activation, reactivity / DR, utilization, retention, and supply.
- Identify operational issues and suggest practical solutions together with the HQ team.
- Execute local initiatives related to driver recruitment, activation, retention, incentives, and marketplace performance.
- Track results of operational initiatives and suggest improvements.
- Prepare regular updates on performance, key issues, field insights, and ongoing activities.
- Support local implementation of DOPS processes and projects.
Driver Acquisition & Field Operations
- Manage day-to-day driver recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate Driver Acquisition agents and other field activities.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of acquisition agents.
- Organize offline driver acquisition activities.
- Test new driver acquisition channels and approaches.
- Spend time in the field with drivers and agents to understand problems and improve execution.
- Support driver activation and reactivation campaigns.
Market Intelligence & Driver Community
- Monitor competitors’ pricing, incentives, acquisition activities, and driver offers.
- Conduct driver interviews, surveys, calling campaigns, and simple field research.
- Collect feedback from drivers and communicate key insights to the HQ team.
- Maintain communication with driver communities through WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, and other relevant channels.
- Help identify changes in driver behavior and local market conditions.
Partners & Coordination
- Coordinate day-to-day work with local agencies, suppliers, and operational partners.
- Support communication with local stakeholders when required.
- Work closely with HQ teams on operational initiatives and ensure their local execution.
- Experience in operations, preferably in ride-hailing, mobility, delivery, logistics, or another marketplace business.
- Good understanding of operational and marketplace metrics.
- Experience with driver, courier, agent, or field operations is a strong advantage.
- Good analytical skills and ability to work with operational data.
- Experience coordinating field teams or agents.
- Ability to identify operational problems and suggest practical solutions.
- Strong execution and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field and communicate directly with drivers and agents.
- Knowledge of the Senegal / Dakar ride-hailing market is a strong advantage.
