About the Position
The Delivery Lead bridges DataArt squad level delivery and program governance, ensuring squads move at pace while meeting quality gates, release criteria, and stakeholder reporting expectations. When needed, you will operate as a Release Manager for your workstream.
The role requires working from the office three days per week.
About the Project
DataArt squads operate within a multi workstream program with strict release governance, contractual deadlines, and program level reporting requirements. Teams consist of more than 50 people across the EU, working fully remotely. Scrum and scaled Agile frameworks are used. No overtime is expected.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all squad ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Own and maintain the squad backlog: grooming, dependency mapping, and sprint capacity planning.
- Coordinate with Release Managers and Program Managers on cross squad dependencies and release readiness.
- Produce program level reporting artifacts: sprint reports, risk and dependency logs, and release readiness dashboards.
- Identify and escalate blockers early, and own impediment resolution.
- Perform Release Manager responsibilities when needed: pre release validation, deployment coordination, and go/no go sign off.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives that generate actionable items and track them to completion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering software projects and 3+ years as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead in multi team environments.
- Proven experience in enterprise delivery with program level governance.
- Comfortable working with both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid/waterfall reporting requirements.
- Experience in release management, including deployment planning, rollback criteria, and go/no go governance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders under pressure.
- Hands on experience with Jira (backlog management, reporting) and Confluence.
- Strong risk and dependency management discipline.
- Proficient English for technical communication (B2+).
- This position requires the candidate to be based in either Cluj-Napoca or Bucharest.
Nice to Have
- Scaled Agile/SAFe certification or practical experience.
- Financial services or capital markets program background.
- Experience with multi region release coordination.
