Responsibilities
- Manage and harmonize efforts across diverse data and AI disciplines, aligning delivery with strategic business outcomes
- Bridge business and technology needs, translating complex requirements into scalable data platform solutions
- Collaborate with EPAM leadership to shape strategic investments and innovation in the Data & Analytics domain
- Establish modern cloud-native architectures with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog, creating scalable Lakehouse architectures
- Lead cross-functional advisory and delivery teams, ensuring actionable insights and measurable business value
- Develop and promote technological assets including blueprints, reference architectures, and accelerators for data modernization
- Provide technical oversight while integrating AI/ML capabilities into data ecosystems, supporting proposals and effectively communicating technical solutions
Requirements
- Deep experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, MLflow) and modern data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh, and streaming architectures
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and articulate technical strategies in business terms
- A natural storyteller and communicator with a consultative mindset and ability to lead without authority
- Experience in both pre-sales and delivery, capable of switching between execution and strategic advisory modes
