inDrive Communications Africa is looking for a person to join our multinational team and lead PR projects coordination and delivery in South Africa, Nigeria and other countries of the region. You will drive the management of diverse PR projects and ongoing activities to put plans and ideas into actions and lead them to positive results. You will establish required processes and have a holistic overview of the projects under your supervision.
- Develop a plan of PR activities within regions, manage budget for the PR activities
- Execute PR projects and campaigns across multiple teams (marketing, business, etc.)
- Develop and oversee PR project plans, timelines, budget splits, deliverables, and KPIs
- Coordinate project and asset delivery and approvals with key stakeholders
- Manage agencies’ work on the PR projects and regular PR activities
- Deliver reporting and ensure the acknowledgment of project success across stakeholders
- Represent inDrive at regional events (if needed) and in communications with the regional media
- Take care of organizational tasks for the Africa PR team, track discussions at meetings and transform them into specific plans and action points
- A bachelor or master degree in Communications, Journalism
- 5 years relevant work experience in PR, marketing and external communications. Agency experience is a big plus
- The ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects: both short and long-term
- Experience in ride-hailing industry or in international business would be an advantage but not strict requirement
- Experience in independently developing, planning and executing communication projects
- Great oral and written skills in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-regional and cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners
- Strong team ethic – diplomatic team-player who can establish positive relationships and work effectively and collaboratively with individuals across the organization and at all levels
- Proactive problem-solver who can demonstrate initiative and make decisions autonomously
- Annual contract with renewal by mutual agreement, becoming an indefinite contract after the second year
