Cinematic Artist (Unreal Engine)

OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs experienced developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and is currently working on titles Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

Tasks:

· Creating storyboards and previs

· Staging in-game cutscenes and cinematics in Unreal Engine

· Integrating animations and visual effects

· Working with mocap and animations in Unreal Engine

· Ensuring compliance with technical requirements and evaluating cinematic performance

· Collaborating closely with animators, artists, level designers, and sound designers

· Identifying technical needs to improve development tools and pipeline.

Requirements:

· Solid understanding of in-game cutscene production principles 

· Have a basic understanding of the Unreal Engine 5 and basic blueprint commands in UE5

· Know the principles of filmmaking and composition

· Have a lot of gaming experience to operate with reference examples

· Skilled in scene direction

· Have a lot of gaming experience to operate with reference examples

· Russian language skills at B2 level are necessary due to the team’s Russian-language production pipeline and internal communication.
