Chief SAP FICO Consultant
We are seeking a Chief SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. This project involves the implementation and customization of SAP FICO modules to ensure compliance with complex Brazilian tax regulations and local financial reporting requirements. The goal is to align SAP financial systems with national tax laws while supporting cross-functional collaboration and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and configuration of SAP FICO modules tailored to meet Brazilian tax and financial reporting requirements
- Conduct thorough requirement gathering and detailed analysis to ensure SAP solutions align with local tax regulations
- Facilitate clear communication and coordination between project managers, cross-functional teams, and external consultants
- Oversee testing, validation, and deployment of SAP FICO processes specific to Brazilian tax compliance
- Support training initiatives and knowledge transfer to finance and tax departments to ensure seamless system adoption
- Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend optimizations focused on tax-related functionalities
- Collaborate closely with IT and business units to integrate tax requirements into broader financial systems and workflows
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant experience or experience in similar positions
- A minimum of 2 years of leadership and team management experience
- In-depth expertise in SAP FICO with a strong focus on Brazilian tax legislation and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and apply complex tax compliance requirements within SAP configurations
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with finance, tax, IT, and business units in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience coordinating with external consultants and internal stakeholders to maintain regulatory adherence
- Aptitude for problem-solving in complex system integration and process optimization scenarios
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher
