Chargeback Analyst (Remote in Poland, Spain or Cyprus)
We're looking for a detail-oriented Chargeback Analyst to join our team and own the end-to-end chargeback process, work closely with clients and payment partners, and play a key part in building scalable, efficient operations. What you'll be doing:
- Conducting the end-to-end processing of issuing and acquiring chargebacks while providing essential support for transactions.
- Shaping, building, and continuously refining Payment Operations processes from the ground up.
- Proactively communicating with clients, including direct email outreach, in relation to their payments.
- Liaising with payment infrastructure providers to escalate requests and monitor issue resolution.
- Driving meaningful impact on how payment services are delivered across customer-facing products.
- Managing daily operational requests with an improvement mindset, consistently identifying and implementing opportunities for optimization.
Who you are:
- Proven experience in chargeback or card operations
- Experience within a neo-bank, PSP, or fintech environment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end payment lifecycle and chargeback handling processes.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- A startup mindset, proactively identifying inefficiencies and proposing effective solutions.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally with team members and various stakeholders.
- A strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and drive informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Excel and other tools
